Online Therapy for Individuals and Families Living in Chronic Stress

Licensed in Florida & South Carolina

Compassionate, private online therapy for adults, couples, families, and adolescents across Florida and South Carolina.

Many of the clients I work with are high-functioning adults and caregivers who appear capable on the outside but feel chronically overwhelmed on the inside. Anxiety, irritability, difficulty sleeping, constant mental scanning, and emotional exhaustion often become the norm — especially during major life transitions, caregiving stress, or complicated family dynamics.
Through online therapy across Florida and South Carolina, I help individuals and families understand the patterns driving their stress, develop practical coping strategies, and build steadier, healthier ways of responding.

When Survival Becomes Your Normal, It’s Hard To Remember What Steady Feels Like.

You’re always scanning.

Watching for shifts in mood.
Anticipating the next problem.
Running through backup plans in your head.

You carry more than most people realize.

Maybe it’s a loved one struggling with addiction.
Maybe it’s navigating systems for your child.
Maybe it’s anxiety, anger, or a life change that knocked you sideways.

Different circumstances.
Same exhaustion.

You’ve been strong for a long time.

But strength isn’t the same as stability.

When survival becomes your normal,
I help you come back to solid ground.

You Are Not Broken

If you’ve been living in chronic stress, it can start to feel personal.

Why can’t I handle this better?
What’s wrong with me?
Why do I keep reacting like this?

There is nothing wrong with you.

Your nervous system adapted to survive what you were facing.

Of course you’re tired.
Of course you’re on alert.
Of course this feels heavy.

You were never broken.

You were surviving.

How We Work

In our work together, we focus on:

• Building practical coping tools that actually regulate your nervous system
• Setting boundaries that protect your energy
• Improving communication without escalating conflict
• Rebuilding trust — in yourself and others
• Moving from reactive survival to grounded choice

We steady first.

From that steadiness, change becomes possible.

The Work We Do Together

Healing isn’t rushed.

It unfolds in stages.

Break Free

We begin by breaking the survival patterns that have been running quietly in the background.

The over-functioning.
The bracing.
The “don’t talk, don’t trust, don’t feel.”

You say it out loud.

Your nervous system begins to settle.

You realize you were never broken.

Ready to Break Free?

Spread Your Wings

From steadiness, something shifts.

You reconnect with your instincts.
Your boundaries become clearer.
Your communication becomes calmer and more direct.

You begin making choices from stability — not survival.

Want to Spread your wings?

and Soar

This isn’t about perfection.

It’s about living on solid ground.

Supporting others without losing yourself.
Handling stress without collapsing into it.
Trusting yourself again.

Hope returns.

Not fragile hope that everything around you will change.

But steady hope that you will be okay — no matter what.
It's time for you to Soar!

My Specialties

I work with individuals and families living in chronic stress, including:

• Support for Families impacted by substance use
• Individuals navigating substance use and recovery therapy
• Therapu for overwhelmed Caregivers navigating complex service systems

Each situation is different.

The nervous system story underneath is often the same.

The Strength Inside You Is Still There

You already have wings.
They may have been folded while you survived.

You already have strength.
It carried you through more than most people see.

You already have fire.
It kept you going when things felt impossible.

Even diamonds are formed under pressure.

The flaws don’t erase their strength.
They reflect the light differently.

The steady, wise part of you --
the part that knows who you are beneath the stress --
has never disappeared.

Sometimes it just needs solid ground to rise again.

If you’re feeling ready

If you’re feeling ready to do this work and feel free again, I invite you to schedule a consultation.

You don’t have to have it all figured out.
You just have to be willing to start.

I’ll meet you there.

FAQs

1. How do I know if therapy is right for me?

If you’ve been living in chronic stress and feel exhausted, reactive, disconnected, or unsure of yourself — therapy can help. You don’t need to be in crisis. You don’t need to have the perfect explanation. If survival has become your normal, that’s enough reason to reach out.

2. What if I don’t know where to start?

You don’t have to. That’s part of my role. We start with what feels most present — stress, conflict, burnout, anxiety — and gently work from there. You don’t need a plan before you walk in.

3. What is your approach to therapy?

My work is grounded in understanding how chronic stress impacts the nervous system. We focus on practical tools, boundaries, communication, and rebuilding trust in yourself. Therapy with me is steady, collaborative, and practical.

4. Do you tell people what to do?

No. My role isn’t to make decisions for you. It’s to help you feel grounded enough to make decisions from stability instead of survival.

5. What if I feel broken?

Many people I work with feel that way at first. You’re not broken. Your system adapted to survive something hard. Therapy helps you build steadiness so you’re no longer reacting from that place.
